I figured I'd bump this old thread rather than starting a new one.

I recently purchased one of the Maxpedition 3D PVC morale patches. I'd love to see Spyderco release something similar.

I was never around for the original thread, but I appreciate the bump. I am all for patches. I would prefer the Velcro backed PVC type, then an embroidered Velcro backed and lowest on my desirable list would be a standard iron / sew on. Let's see if we can generate some interest in this.

Count me in on a patch, whether Velcro or sew-on. Any of the above examples would fine by me but I'd prefer just the red bug (insect?) with no text.

I agree sterile is better than loaded with text

I'd buy some. I've brought this up a few times over the years because my head is too big for the "one size fits all" style hats. I'd rather buy a nice fitted hat and sew on the patch anyway.

I 3D printed some spydie coasters and a spydie number sign for outside the house (Personal use only) because there aren't any other merchandise options for this. By Spyderco making them, I can replace them with registered spydie stuff and ALLOT of people will buy it :)

I'm in. I have a mechanic's jacket with a bunch of crazy patches on it. Spyderco would fit right in.

The response seems fair at best, perhaps because this it a zombie thread. Let's really see if we can amp up the interest guys (and gals). I just counted my bag and have 8 total Velcro patches on it. Certainly I can make room for a Spyderco bug patch... and I am sure many of you can as well.
