My Kangaroo "bag" is here!

#1

Post by Jeff/1911 »

Folks,

On Christmas eve, co-incidentally I received my "Roo' bag" made of genuine Kangaroo scrotum. It's called the "lucky pouch" and I received it in the mail from Clay. It is a really nice looking sachel. It looks very much like leather made from calfskin to me, and is quite supple. I'll send a picture of it once I return to work next week, and have access to a digital camera.

Thanks Clay! You are most kind indeed. For those of you who don't know what this is about, it was sent to me as a gift of appreciation from Clay for helping him to locate a blue Centofante he had been searching for.

YAY! We will get to see the bag!! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Take photos from all angles! So, what are you going to use it for? Knives? Coins? Show it off! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

You're both quite bent; and I respect that.

I'm not sure what I'll use it for yet. Perhaps I'll carry some knife cleaning supplies around in it, or sumthin'.

Jeff.

Hi Kahz.

Yes, I will take some pictures on Wednesday when I return to work, and post them.

Poor 'roo. That is absolutely disgusting. That is like something Larana Bobbit would carry around. I don't know how any guy could stand to touch it, let me say eeeeewwwwwwwwwwwww. I have to admit that I am still kinda curious what it looks like. Still is very disgusting.

Jeff, you could always use it for a marble bag. Especially appropriate for carrying boulders I should think.

You do play marbles, right?

Congrats on the "bag" Jeff!

Being a male, my heart goes out to the poor Roo that gave up his, uh, things for bag material. Oh well. Maybe you can tote knives in it. Enjoy!

Yeah... that's it.

I'm not warped, just a lil bent.

That's it of course! My "spare knife" bag! That's what it shall become for me.

You all know how a person has to have a spare along for "just in case" situations. I mean as well as the standard Spyderco large plain edge and large serrated, small plain edge and small serrated models that I carry with me at all times. Well, most of the time.

Like someone once said here...

(and I liked it so much I decided I would have to always be in the position to say this in the future)

...when asked if I had a knife by someone, that they could use.

"Yes certainly. What kind would you like? Teeth or no teeth, and how big?"

Grinningly, Jeff/1911.

mschwoeb,

Thanks for the reference. That is great information, and those are excellent pictures of the scrotal pouch!

Jeff,

Is it possible to include a ruler or a knife in the photo so we can tell the real size with something in reference? <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle> LMAO!

So, "Spydercoian collection" man, what do you plan to do use it for? <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
