I just wanted to say hello. I have been a long time Spyderco owner and user but this is my first post. I own a few right now but this is my original one that I bought new and still use as my EDC.
It has traveled with me through the Rock mountains, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Grand Canyon, Acadia, Baxter State Park in Maine, Hawaii, Mt Rainer, Scotland, England, Germany, Czech republic, Austria, Poland, Netherlands and all over the southeastern US. It has been with me pretty much anywhere my travels take me. I did at one point snap the tip off of it doing something dumb with it. So I had to try to repair that. I have worn it dull and sharpened it a few times and it will still shave the hair off my arm. I also misplace it for a year or so. I eventualy found it in one of my jacket pockets, that was a great day when I found it.
I just wanted to say hello.
PS please ignore the crummy lanyard, it is what I had when I was out in the woods last.

Welcome. You and your Delica are well traveled. It looks like its got plenty of life left in it though.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

It's better to have knife and not need it than to need a knife and not have it.

Welcome the forums! My first :spyder: was the same knife but with the CE. I also still have it and served me well as my EDC for around 10 years.

Hey, I am assuming from your username that you own the venerable RC51? If so, then I am envious! I love sport twins (currently out of bikes altogether) but have owned SV650, TL10000s, SV1000s and Buell XB12R. The Arsey has been one of "lust bikes" though. IMO, Honda twins (Arsey and Superhawk) with a nice set of cans are THE best sounding...even better than Ducs! :D

Welcome to the Spyderco Forum and enjoy your stay here. Thank you for the great pics. Always a pleasure the see the pre '98 Delica, expecially when it is accompanied by such a great story. :)
