Ebay worries
I sent in a money order for my Q from Ebay on dec 20.The person I sent it to responded to my email to day and said he had not recieved it yet.I hope my first ebay purchase isn't going to be a hassle.Maybe it is taking a little longer to get thier because of the hollidays.

Just my opinion but... I have bought many knives off of ebay in my collecting days. Beware of people with low feedback numbers. Always send knives, checks, money orders or whatever "priority with delivery confirmation" it will cost you a little more but it helps overcome these little problems. You can track your mail on the USPS site. If you are a little more paranoid send it "signature required" and then you even know who signed for it. Their are bargins and rare knives to be found on ebay just beware. My 2 cents worth.

I would not be concerned yet, think about it.
If you put it in the mail on the 20th (thursday)- two days with no movement plus the busiest week for mail. I would not worry about anything until the new year. The reality is there is not much you can do anyway but wait. I have had over 350 transactions on ebay and only had one real problem that was resolved without any bad feedback on either. rico

I just noticed that it went to Lancaster NY it may have gotten slowed down by all of the snow up there.
The man I sent it to had 614 comments in his feedback only 10 were negitive and they were all complants about how much he charged in shipping.5.00 and cost .57 to ship but I can understand that. You have to get something for your time packing it,driveing to the post office and waiting in line.

I have bought several items on ebay with no problems. I have sold several that the buyer never paid for however. I can't figure why anyone would bid on something and then not pay.

J Smith, I wouldn't be to concerned just yet. With the holidays
so close together at years end lots of mail gets slowed down.
If you don't get a response within a reasonable time( now be
fair about this point) and you paid with a Postal M.O. let the
seller know you expect at least an e-mail response or you will
be forced to contact the postal inspector about a possiblity of
mail fraud. Just be sure you've been as fair as you can be and
made every effort on your own to resolve the matter BEFORE
you contact the P.O. Good luck.
