Contest Time - Free Spyderco!

#1

Post by Harry White »

I have been a member of the Spyderco Forums for two years, with almost 1,300 posts. What better way to show my appreciation for all the advice I've received and friends I've made than to sponsor a little contest for all Spyderco Forum members.

The prize in a new Black FRN Delica 4 Plain Edge knife. I had actually won this knife in an earlier Spyderco Forum contest over a year ago. But to be honest, I already own three Delica variations, and would rather give this to someone without this particular knife.

The ONE restriction I would like to place is that if you currently own a Black FRN Plain Edge Delica 4, please refrain from entering the contest (obviously, this is an honor system). All other Delica variations are fine to own for purposes of this contest and shouldn't preclude you from entering.

The Delica 4 PE in question I won in June 2007. It arrived without a box, but has never been carried or used. I will place it inside a Delica 4 PE box of my own before sending it to the winner. It is a new knife.

To enter, please answer the three following questions by replying to this thread.

1. As I am a fan of classic cinema, in particular, "The Criterion Collection, a continuing series of important classic and contemporary films on DVD," please guess how many titles I currently own as of this writing? (Hint: Criterion currently has 428 titles in their catalog.)

2.Criterion represents films from many countries. From which one country do I own the most Criterion titles? (choices: Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Poland, Soviet Union, Sweden, UK, USA)

3. TIE-BREAKER ONLY: Pick a number between 1 and 1,000, inclusive.

I'll pick a winner in one week -- Sunday, February 10, 2008, at 12:00 PM (Noon), EST.

Good luck!

Roger

PS - Here is a picture of the actual knife.
