MSRP of original FB01 Moran?

#1

Post by catamount »

I just won an original FB01 Moran with mirror polish, convex grind and leather sheath on ebay, and I am curious what the MSRP was for this one?

I don't know but congrats on the win. The leather sheath is a nice one.

This 1998 listing is probably as close as you'll get to it. Sheath was already kydex by then but the priice should be close, if not spot on.

Thanks Paul :)

I might actually prefer the kydex sheath, as it can be reversed for left hand carry.

I Don't know if I'll be able to bring myself to use it or not. I really like the current FB02, and I am intrigued by the "Moran" convex edge.

Congrats, the Moran is an awesome blade. I will have to pick one up someday. Just wish it had a lanyard hole though.

The handle is mostly FRN, any reason why a person couldn't just drill a hole?

Picked up one a few years ago for cheap on the forums. Only problem with the leather cross-draw sheath is that it eventually loosens up. Might want to look into a kydex sheath for it (eric at o/st made mine).
