1000th Post Giveaway

#1

Post by catamount »

To celebrate my 1000th post, I've decided to give away my original PE Stretch. It just got back from being reprofiled/sharpened by Tom Krein, so it's ready and eager to do some slicin'!

I wanted to come up with a new and interesting way to do things, but I'm wimping out and going the conventional route :D

I've chosen a number between 1 and 1000 inclusive. Post your pick between now and 11:00 PM EST Friday Dec 7th. Whoever is closest wins the Stretch. In the event of a tie, the earlier poster wins.

If you win, and you already have a Stretch (original or 2), I would ask that you pass it on to another :spyder: bro' (or sis').
Tom

I'm an admirer of Spyderco's designs. Using them is like immersing yourself in music or studying a painting in a museum. I buy some "fine" art but my preference is for usable art.

Everyone loves a contest so I'll enter even though my Stretch 2 got here an hour ago. I'm guessing 204 and if that's the number I will withdraw. I just want to guess at the number.

I know Tom Krein's rep but I don't think I want a knife sharper than this Strech 2. I will make every effort to not test it on myself.
Not really all that slick ;)
