:spyder: :spyder: :cool: :spyder: :spyder: I cut all sorts of stuff like, cardboard, food, snack packs, plastic, opening my mail, digging out fibers, and other foreign materials from my K&N air filter(ya..not a good idea, but got no air hose), and most fun of all, openning new Spyderco packs, got in mail!
Hey Deacon, you actually cut your nails with a knife? Wow!!!! Talk about precision cutting! lol

Cardboard, envelopes, packages/tape, food, zip ties, plastic clamshell packs, thread, string, paracord, plastic wrap, coupons, tags on clothes, branches, some wood, lots of other stuff. General stuff that is encountered throughout the day.

Anything that needs to be cut, and will not damage the knife.

Whatever needs to be cut...certain Spyders are designated "beater Spydies" so they'll see more abuse than others...hawkbills are great for ripping right thru those annoying clamshell packs... :cool: :D

My kids refer to my CF CalyIII as the "splinter remover".They and my nieces claim that I offer the most painless splinter removal service around. :D

You said it Starling...on Christmas morning,right beside my cup of coffee is at least two Spydies,one SE and one PE.They see alot of action opening clampacks and cutting ties from toy packages.....Why Barbie can't have one hair out of place in the box I'll never know.

Envelopes, packaging materials, plastics, clamshell packaging wire (electrical and from clothes), fruit for lunch, sandwiches, light yard work etc...

Although, with a full compliment of Spydie Kitchen knives, I also use spydies for cooking. Heavy duty cutting (materials that are known to be harder than the steel of my knives) is delegated to a nice beater D4.

Anything that needs cutting that does not require an axe saw or pry-bar. At work package materials and lunch prep.

At home kitchen and light cutting jobs mostly.

I used to camp outdoor whitling fire wood preparation in summertime. Sadly i don't do that much more.

Last night my BG-42 Millie diced up a tomato and chopped up some romaine for tacos. This morning my CE S30V Millie slit a Cubanito roll so I could make my delicious salami, ham and pepperjack cheese sandwich for lunch. :D

Food prep, mail packages, and scrap paper (for the heck of it) mostly.

As an LEO ...ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING :eek: :eek: :p !!! Like already mentioned , even myself :rolleyes: !!! Take Good Care and Be Safe Always.

Anything that needs to be cut :D currently have the full size Persian in my pocket :D

Its all butter anyway, I have sharpeners and know how to use them. Otherwise, wood, carbon fiber, open the mail, make the air bleed holes in those coffee cups bigger. Delica and it's always with me.

Cutting - Wires, zip-ties, Hard plastic packing straps, wood, Metal bands, plastic packaging, rope, string, towels for rags, cardboard-by-the-mile... etc.
Scraping - Gum, leather, wire-stripping, stickers... etc.
Sometimes I shave with it... just for fun.
And if you come at me with something dangerous... I'll cut you too!

I cut almost anything with knives.
i dont know how to use scissors,but a knife-YES.
sometimes i'l carve up an old magazine to test bladesharpness.
