Nice to see this place pop up. A direct artery to Spyderco. Can't beat that. It's also great to see the BF members posting here; this cross-pollination of information is of inestimable worth. Plus Sal and the gang are here. Whew... thanks for this.

Just edited my spelilgn...

RLR - Thanx. Information, humor (some of these guys are downright "interesting").

We'll see what we can make of it.

I thought I'd practice some time travel.

This is a fun place, thanks everyone for making it so!

I was 8. That was the summer our whole family (then 9 of us) went on a three week camping trip from NJ to Nebraska.

I would have been 16 years old and just finished my Junior year of high school. I was working at my first job at McDonalds. Saving money to dump it into my Pontiac Sunfire, trying to make it like the Fast and The Furious cars since the first movie of the series came out around that time. That summer I made a lot of new friends working with other kids from other schools and meeting all their friends.

You lot are so young. :) (that's a good thing)

I was married and my father had passed 6 months earlier in June of 2000.

I was 37 in July of 2000.

I joined here in 2004, but was away for most of 14 years, until I decided to become more active here in 2018 or so.

I was 22 years old and still in college. Partying and chasing girls. Met my wife on Halloween of 2020. We’ve been together ever since.

I was 20, was at community College working on a degree in medical lab tech. I didn't finish, went to Mississippi State and started management and information systems. Had a car wreck and back to community College to get a programming degree. Then I went on to be an electrician... Lol

Y2K... I was 26. And I had already managed to brainwash my wife that I'm a good catch. ;) We married 5 years later, on 05.05.05. :) I was not into knives yet back then, nor had I started collecting flashlights yet, iirc. We probably just had started collecting stuffed animals. By the time our first child arrived, in 2009, we had gathered >400... Anyway....... :p

I was just about to start my freshman year in high school by moving from Texas to Oklahoma...wow, what a time warp. It was 2 years before I knew what Spyderco was, and 3 years before receiving a Benchmade mini-grip as a gift.
So it goes.
