Just curious if anyone had any info on this knife. It has a integral clip, lined lanyard hole and just has a different look than most of the Spyders I have seen.

Early C05 Standard, also called the "Economy Standard" due to the clip, which is punched out of the right scale, rather than being a separate screw mounted piece. It was Spdyerco's first attempt at a lower priced knife.

Wow thanks Deacon. I had never seen that one before. Kinda looked like a delica at a glance. I appreciate your response!!

I don't have this specific model - IIRC and what I see it's the :spyder: -co standard lockback.

You can see the Delica, but also Caly Jr's handle shape...

I'm pretty sure it's the same handle shape that they used for the Worker.

Yep, it looks like my C05 Standard. Neat idea for the clip, but it really does a number on pockets.

Plus being well nigh impossible to fix if it gets bend, muchless snapped off.

This version of the Standard was Spyderco's first attempt at a "low end" model, when it was upgraded to the three screw clip version, the FRN versions of the Delica and Endura were introduced as lower prices alternatives. It's fairly obvious that the Delica, while somewhat different (blade is taller, handle shape a bit different) from the Standard, evolved from it.

Felly, yes, the Worker, Hunter, regular C05 Standard and the Harpy all share the same basic handle outline, although the Harpy gets the added vents.
