Spyderco Butterfly ??

I read on another forum that Spyderco is coming out with a Butterfly knife.Does Anyone have any info. on this or is it just a rumor?tom.

The Spyder-Fly has been debated many times on this forum, and I think the issue is still under consideration. However, a little more discussion on the subject always keeps people's memories sharp!

Please make a "spyder-fly"! I even like the name. I'll commit to buying 2! I promise. I just think that Spyderco making a balisong is a great idea....No holes unless you guys are 110% sure it won't unbalance it to much.....heck, what am I saying.....I'll leave it up to you guys. Afterall, you know what you're doing. It shows.

rings erely of Benchmade.... well, I see no purpose in a balisong other that an OOOh AAAh knife, and you all know what I think about benchmade, used to carry two, (axis folders, they were...) but the Spyder God has seince illuminated me.. Ill pray for you, after all, us pastors kids are good at that....

I must confess.....I own a Benchmade Butterfly (the serrated titanium). Which is why I'm begging for someone like Sal to put in a good word for a Spyder-Fly.....Please! ok, you got me. I'll buy three. But that's it. unless they come in assorted styles, in which case I must buy one of each. I'll buy 2 each of the titaniums IF you guys (Spyderguys) decide to make those......

I will pray for all youall. I will help in this insident, in my opinion i dont really like Benchmades. But i will help pray. good luck, oh i am not a P.K. only Wily Sharp, but there is still hope, and i dont pray alot but i will help for the guys or girls who like Benchmade. Sorry to say this but i think they SUCK!

Having spoken to someone that has seen these bali proto's from Sal personally on the last day of the NYC Show in November, and since I trust that person implicitly, Spyder-fly's will eventually become a reality.

Of course when I asked Sal about it on Friday, he didn't even offer to show me those proto. Of coure if he knew just how much of a bali fan I was, it might have been a different story.
