Dinosaur Bone Executive

I just got this in the mail today, and I was pretty excited to take some pic's but the weather wasn't very cooperative. It's very cloudy today, so I'm not satisfied yet, but you'll get a good look any way.
I would like to request some pic's if anybody else on the Forum has one of these, because I'm sure each of the 30 made have some different variances to them. They say the Dino Bone is 140 million years old, but it looks pretty good to me! I consider this to be my "Grail of Grails" as far as Spyderco goes, and never did plan on ever finding one. Thanks to a fellow Forumite, this one became a reality.
Anyway, I wanted to post a pic with some comments on the regular thread and planned on putting the rest of the pic's on the photo thread. So if anybody has one of these, please, let's see some pic's!

Thanks N. A.!
I'm hoping to see some more pop out of the woodwork. ;) I think what is so cool about these is each one is different, and the bone is breathtaking IMO.

As far as I know, all 30 were serrated. ;)

Wow, felly! Talk about unique! I bet the photo, though it is very nice, doesn't do it justice at all! :) :spyder:

I'll just say that Starling hit the nail on the head. It looks WAY better in person!
I remember commenting to the previous owner on how good it looked in the pic's he sent me and he basically said if I liked the pic's, I would love it once I got to see it right in front of me.

Believe me, I'm still pinching myself occasionally to make sure it's not just a dream!

Here's the story behind this knife, for those of you that don't know. In the early 80's, Sal had Santa Fe Stoneworks do up 30 Executive's with dinosaur bone scales and gave them to executives, employee's and friend's of Spyderco as a gift. To find one at all is fairly rare, much less find someone willing to sell their's.
So there it is, a pretty simple story about a very pretty knife......IMO! :D

LOL :D Good times!!
Thanks J-Man! I just wonder what part of the dinosaur they got the bone from for this one? Someone had mentioned to me that they thought it looked like it could be from a tooth.
My next question would be, was it from a meat eater or a vegetarian? :D

Judging from the teeth, I'd say an Omnivore.
