I think it's a great idea. How about an etched Adventura? Sprint run etched Worker?

I'm an admirer of Spyderco's designs. Using them is like immersing yourself in music or studying a painting in a museum. I buy some "fine" art but my preference is for usable art.

I really want a Worker and would love the etched design. It would be awesome in FRN, too :D

Don't know how much chance there is of Sal putting it back in the lineup, bu the SS Kiwi would look great etched and the increased traction would be of even more practical benefit on it than on clipped models.

I'm assuming that if the etched Spin, D'fly and Cricket sell reasonably well at least some of the other all stainless models in the current lineup will be given similar treatment. Think the Lava would be an excellent candidate.

I agree. The only thing other than the price that has kept me from it was the smooth stainless. Not a big fan of it really as a user, but the etching really does look like it solves that in my eyes.

Id kinda like to see it on the SS Endura and Delicas.
