Fully serrated Byrd knives?

#1

Post by gac »

Are there any fully serrated Byrd knives made? I'd like to get one of the shorter blade models but would like to get a fully serrated blade.

I think the robin and the finch are going to be the closest you'll get to a fully serrated byrd.

The SE robin is quite a great little cutter though. The egros are amazing and the steel is quite resillient, and from what I hear, the G-10 version is very well made.

But we do need more SE byrds :D

I would like to see more byrds in SE also.

The Robin is mostly SE, and it is one of my favorite smaller knives. The G-10 version is really nice, especially considering the low price.

The Meadolark I got from the last A'dam show(thanx much again Jurphaas  ) fits my hand even better than my beloved D3/SE.

I sure would like a fully serrated version of it

Has anyone heard if the upcoming line-up from Spyderco will include a fully serrated Byrd?

The rescue model were supposed to be full SE, but came out CE instead. Packages even indicate they are SBK (Serrated Black). Supposedly it was going to be a few months before things were straightened out with the manufacturing.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)
