Hangovers and knives. Like oil and water.

I thought it'd be more for the old Sunday meal where everyone gets together and (usually) mum cooks a meal the old fashioned way (read: not microwaved, takeaway, fast food &c).

Edit: Just noted the Piet.S had pretty much the same thing!

Bagels AND hangovers AND (up early) AND (in a hurry for church).

Bagels make sense. I hated cutting those tough round donuts until I got my spyder edge slicer.
Not really all that slick ;)

More like blood and alcohol? Ouch.

Do bagels seriously cause that many injuries? I guess that's why I usually go for granola bars :p

100 Bolster points go to OutofGum for answering correctly...with honorable mentions to several of you who also suspected BAGELS as the culprit for the increase in hand lacerations that occur on Sunday mornings!

Let's be careful out there...those with hangovers should consider cereal instead...

Congrats to OutofGum!

On the subject of bagels - back in college a friend of mine turned up with a bandaid on his left index finger. "What happened Eric?" I ask. His roommate jumped in to say "He was slicing a bagel with his finger through the hole!".

Best regards,
