Yup, that's right... I've ordered my first real knife! It was a hard decision, but I went for a frn Calypso Jr. You guys agree with the choice?

AG! another few days!

I payed 60$ canadian + 5$ shipping, from knifesite.com

Alright, I'll post back when I get it!

Good choice.
A small no nonsence knife. One of the sharpest straight from box knives I've had.

I just got my Calypso Jr FRN about a month ago, and what a loyal companion it is! Indeed a no nonsense knife. A true work-horse. Peace out.

I've been trying to find a plainedge Calypso jr locally, but to no avail. I'm curious to know how your online purchase from knife site goes. They certainly have decent prices.

I look forward to your post when you receive your knife.

That's an excellent choice. I carry mine everyday. I think I oughta buy a couple to put back since they've been discontinued...

Hope you enjoy it. Be careful, they're VERY sharp out of the box...

Arg! I just tpyed out a whole message and accidently lost it... oh well

La benge, I'll be sure to get back to you about my order. This knifesite.com sofar seems almost too good to be true. Almost the cheapest price I've found for a Calypso Jr, in stock, online chat help, 2-3 day delivery, 5$ canadian shipping to anywhere in canada, only 1 tax for me since they're from BC... as long as my knife getshere I'm sold!

Thanks for all the replies... I'm feeling really goodabout my choice :D

I've started hearing some things about a crooked blade in someof the Calypso Jr's... but it just kind of slipped my mind when I purchased it. Is this true, and now I'm kinda worried I'll get one :S
