I'm hooked and I can't stop!

Post by Lsaulog »

I've been a longtime Spyderco fan and have visited the forums on occasion. My recent visits have renewed my great interest and love of Spyderco knives.

I am just starting to collect. I have a Delica FRN Spyderedge (My second, I lost the first) and a SS Police Spyderedge.

I recently won an auction for an Endura on eBay and made the mistake of going to the local knife shop to take a look at some of the newer offerings before it arrives.

Needless to say, I couldn't help myself. I went home with THREE more! I'm addicted! I couldn't wait for my Endura to show up so I went out and bought two Natives (SS & FRN), and another Delica. It's like a strange euphoria that I can't explain. Man, talk about instant gratification, though....Whew.

Are there more addicts out there or am I just nuts?

Ooooh, the big brown truck just pulled up.....!!! AAAAGGHH! :&gt

Hope for the best. Be prepared for the worst. You'll never be disappointed.

Isaulog,

Just wanted to let you know...

...the disease you describe is incurable...

Another one caught in the Spyder's web!

Hi Isaulog! Welcome to Spyderland !

Simply put, there is only one antidote for your spyder addiction: it takes the form of an envelope with my name on it. Simply put knives in envelope, stamp, and you will be cured!

Please note-- your experiences with the above cure may vary. Widely. Side effects include foaming at the mouth, uncontrollable sobbing and hunger for more Spydies.

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

I've become more attached to the serrated Native Lightweight(FRN). The textured handle is not as well defined as the volcano grip on my Delica but definitely allows for a more secure hold than the Native Stainless. Especially with wet hands.

Sword and Shield,
Kahz is right. I think this disease is truly incurable.

Besides, I am already foaming at the mouth and, I am now stalking the elusive big brown truck! Maybe if I pick one at random, it'll contain my Endura..

But thanks anyway for the offer of taking these off my hands! LOL

Such a disappointment. Yesterday's delivery was not for me.. Oh well, there's always today!!

Hope for the best. Be prepared for the worst. You'll never be disappointed.
