Zac,
I want to point out that there are several G10 auto models out there. Most of them made by Robbie Dalton. The ergonomics and designs of Daltons are tremendous. There are many Daltons with hollow grinds. In fact, most are hollow ground. Many models are also partly serrated. Finally Dalton is considered one of the top Autos, period. Here's a link to a gallery of models produced by Dalton. If you have not seen this before I think as a knife lover you will be impressed. Don't get me wrong, I would love to see an auto Spydie. I just want to point out some things that you may not be aware of.
Thanks!

Jordan please see post #21, thanks. autos are very illegal in TX, it is the same as carrying an AK-47 in the eyes of the law here.Jordan wrote:Nothing there prohibiting ownership severed thumbs. The only limitations on illegal knives in this state are that you do not sell one to someone under 18, and you leave it at home.

One of the largest Microtech dealers around. Supposedly, they have stopped production on all double action automatics about two months ago, and they are understaffed by about 235-245 people, as according to what was in an agreement with Pennsylvania, they are supposed to have 250 people (IIRC) working by a set year in order to get a business break.merciful wrote:What's your source on this?

When they actually do something, their quality is AMAZING. Tony Marfione is one of the most talented individuals in cutlery ever...he is also a very unkind person to say the least.merciful wrote:****! That's too bad. I love their stuff (vicariously, of course, as I am a Canadian and would never own something proscribed by the authorities.)
Thanks.

I'm not sticking up for Mr Marfione, but the 'rumor' about MT closing has been circulating for quite some time now without any actual confirmation that it's closing down.
As for the fact they haven't made any D/A OTFs in several months, that's not unusual. MT don't make every single model at all times. Not even Benchmade make every model at the same time.
