spyderco pouch..

#1

Post by spyderking »

I'm sure you're all familiar with the Spyderco pouch with gold bug.. does anyone know where I could get one? I've seen them on ebay here and there.. anywhere else I could get one at a good price? I've got a grey calypso jr without a home, so I figured I'd put it in a pouch. I also have an old Manix box.. guess I can use that. I just solved my problem.. still like to know where I could find one. Thanks fellas..

Well, I know $15 is kinda expensive for a case.... but it is probably worth it.

Spyderco sells them, but seem to only show the large size right now. The Calypso Jr will fit in the small size, if you can find one. Have seen them without the bug as well, so imagine the company that Spyderco gets them from also sells them to others as well.

You might look into these

Pouch price war

#4

Post by JD Spydo »

Wow!!! they have really gone up in price. It's only been a couple of years ago that I bought a dozen of them for $6.95 each. It was just last year I got 4 more of them for about $10 each  .

They are nice pouches and they are quality built. There are just a lot of consumer goods going up exponentially here in the last 2 years :(

It does baffle me though why they quit making the smaller ones. They were just a perfect size for Dyad Juniors, Kopa, Kiwi and Salsa models just to name a few. I got about 10 of those before they were discontinued :(

Depending on how many knives you have, you might want to consider the SpyderPac. You can get them here on this site.
It's better to have knife and not need it than to need a knife and not have it.
