First aid for a battered Harpy

#1

Post by Paul Work »

Found my old Harpy today. Worn, scuffed, dull, and a little on the wobbly side. Figured I'd try to revive the old girl. After several hours of filing and back beveling (it used to be serated), it's finally starting to look usable again. THe serrations were so bad I had no choice but to remove them. The poor thing had been used for things a knife isn't supposed to do. While the edge geometry will never be the same again, she's still got a few miles left. Now if I can only find the clip and screws....

Man, that must be one helluva good knife! Why don't you send it back to Spyderco? Maybe Sal and the gang might be able to patch it up and give it a new lease of life! <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>
