Guess what I got for a 10th anniversary present (10 of being together all in all, 4 of being married)????

Yes! You guessed right: A TIM WEGNER MOUSE!

The nice dinner will just have to come after my terrible cold goes away, I can't stop coughing, ugh...

I "hinted" to my husband that I just NEEDED that Mouse... ok, I did not hint anything, I just plainly sent him an e-mail at work and told him that I was going to make his life easier by just sending him a photograph of what I wanted. I can get the diamond bracelet myself...

And thanks to everyone who helped me make a decision for his gift, he got a Leatherman SuperTool 200, plus a Linux penguin (Tux) t-shirt... yes, I know, we are such geeks! LOL! I still owe him the tool kit, though, so that will come later.

The Mouse is a great knife, I have to disagree with anyone who says it's too pricy. I know where he got it, I know how much he spent, it's also my money, and I really think it's worth every penny. The construction is excellent, the size is just right for everyday carry, and the design is sleek. I have used larger knives to skin animals and I am sure this little blade would do just a fine job skinning smaller game if needed. Also, the blade seems pretty sturdy, and I find the balance of the blade and handle to be perfect. It's also easy to open, even though I am used to the larger types.

I know I will have this little knife with me every day, along with my other knives and tools I carry on a daily basis, but I can honestly see it becoming the "spoiled child."

Kahz,

Hope you get to feelin' better soon. I agree with you, the Mouse is a really neat knife and not overpriced. I use mine around the house a lot. It has a wonderful feel.

Take care,

RYAN and stu,

Thanks for the good wishes. I am getting better, slowly, but getting back to 100% soon, so I can continue trekking before the snows get here.

I have been playing with the Mouse for the last two days, I can't put it down! Spyderco and Wegner did a really good job with this little knife, I don't think there are enough words to describe the feel.
