Worth every penny, shilling, pfennig, puka shell or whatever else you may have paid! If I wasn't a spydernut, it might just have been the last knife I'd need until it wore out. But...

tortoise & akbell,

How have the scales been putting up with the daily wear?
Haven't purchased this knife because of that- would really like to see it in micarta or G-10.

Daily carry, usually IWB, under a gunbelt's worth of potentially scratchy equipment, for over a year, has resulted in virtually no visible wear. A really close examination would find a few light scratches, but nothing that would be seen by a casual eye.

I love the mouse design but do not like "cheap" aluminum scales. Want CF, Micarta and Spyderedge. May have to deal with Wegner and pay even more.

Hmmm... I've never thought they look or are cheap at all. On the contrary, this is a higher end knife for me. Then again, each one has an opinion, right?

I carry mine every day (except New Year's Eve) since I got it in October 2001, and it shows almost no wear. Also, I wear jeans almost every day and jeans tend to scratch more because of the tougher textile material. My Mouse has put up with this just fine.

If I could only have one folding knife (shudder) my Mouse would be it.

I just thought of something....what if this thing can read minds? He's gonna be real mad when he gets to me.

If ever I'm in a situation where even showing a clip would be unwise, I carry my mouse in my jeans watch pocket, rather than have a knife loose in the bottom of my pocket.

Great little dude.

Hey! Maybe THIS is the small Spydie I've been in search of to fit into the "watch" pocket of my jeans.

Yog, is it comfortable to wear in that little pocket? How about when lifting your leg to get into a vehicle?

Thanks, Jeff.

Hi Jeff.
Mouse carry in the watch pocket it very comfortable. It does not restrict leg movement at all, in fact unless I put my hand to my pocket I don't know it's there at all.
The pocket bulges out rather than in, so the only time I notice it is when I reach into the main pocket. When sitting it can make using the main pocket a touch difficult, but when standing it's not that noticable.

Yog,

I would imagine that the clip would drag on the pocket hand when trying to access the main pocket. Or are you placing the entire knife inside the watch pocket; clip and all?

Either way, I think I'm going to need one of these. Here we go again...

I removed the clip from my almite crickets to carry them in my watchpocket. Makes accessing the pocket so much easier.

The Mouse is my favorite small folder. It feels and cuts quite abit bigger than it actually is.
