That has a nice pic of the D4 handle colors (newest model) As for the D3there was black, blue,OD,red (trainer) and pink.
We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because is "works" better, than the knife in your showcase, because it "looks" better.

There were also Delica's in VG-10, I have one in a blue handle and I'm sure that they also came in black. I think that AUS-6 was only used in the SS versions. There was also a OD Green handle with a black blade that was a distributor special.

Think the best way to do this is a kind of "fill in the blanks" process

Am not that heavily into the Delica, but I'll start things off with the ones I know...

25th Anniversary - VG-10 blade, Ed Schempp "Bug" damascus bolsters and jigged bone scales over stainless liners, PE only - no clip

Carbon Fiber - VG-10 blade, shiny CF, single liner on clip side. 4 versions - RH/PE, RH/SE, LH/PE, and LH/SE, each drilled for TU/TD carry. AFAIK, the LH/SE ones are the only Delicas with RH serrations.

Titanium - ATS-34 blade, never marketed in USA, RH have only ever seen PE and RH/TD only.

Stainless Steel Generation 4 - VG-10 steel, PE, SE, and CE, all drilled for 4way carry TU/TD RH/LH.

Stainless Steel - AUS-6 steel, PE, SE, and CE, all drilled for RH TU/TD carry. Certain engraved versions of these are common enough to note - PRCA, DEA, FBI and "Bug and web".

FRN Generation 4 - all are drilled for 4 way carry
Waved - dark grey handle, VG-10 blade, PE only
medium blue handle, solid ZDP-189 blade, PE only
foliage green handle, VG-10 blade, CE only
black handle, VG-10 blade, PE, SE, and CE
Trainer - red handle, AUS-6 "butter knife" :D blade

FRN "Barrel Bolt" clip - VG-10 era RH/LH TU only carry
black handle, PE, SE, and CE
Trainer - red handle, AUS-6 "butter knife" :D blade

FRN "Barrel Bolt" clip - ATS-55 era RH/LH TU only carry
black handle, PE, SE, and CE
medium blue handle PE and SE
pink handle PE and SE
forest green handle, black coated blade CE only

FRN "Integeral" clip - AUS-8 era RH/TU only
black handle, PE, SE, and CE

FRN "Integeral" clip - G-2 era RH/TU only
black handle, PE, SE, and CE

Am sure there are more colors in each of the FRN "eras" prior to the current "Gen 4" one. Just not sure what goes where. There are also PRCA engraved FRN handled Delicas from several of those eras as well.

The colors I listed were the colors of the early ones. I have the Lady bugs and Enduras to match them.

Ladybug PE Red, Delica PE Red and Endura PE Red
Then same for Combo Edge .

Serrated edge just Delicas and Enduras.

These applied to the early models. I got these in the early -mid 90s.

Thanks everyone, ;)

Any scans of the older colored ones? :)

How rare is the black blade, black ti version? I have a chance to purchase one and just wondering of the rarity of it.

I'm not sure if there ever was an official "black ti" version of the Delica, that is to say an all stainless Delica with black ti-ni coating on both handle and blade. Over the years several outside parties have had various models of Spyderco knives black-ti coated, after-market. Know John F Jensen did it with Workers, Hunters, and Standards. Not sure if anybody did Delicas. Or are you talking a black FRN handled knife with at black ti-in coated blade?

I've got a black ti right hand FRN "G-2" version, serrated. It used to be my "swimming pool" knife here in the blazing hot NC summers. Joe

And there was a Generation 3 training model with two variations. The first version had a solid blade and the second variation had holes in the blade -and more rounded edges- like the current D4 trainer.

Pictured here is the earlier solid blade trainer, as well as other Gen 3 variations. :D

Well, seems Ceya and Paul has covered a lot of the bases and the rest has filled in pretty good.
The thing to remember is the different generations, and the different steels.
I'll add that there is several minor variations within the different generations as well. I have a 3. gen. for instance (Barrel bolt 2 position clip) without a Boye- dent.

Here's another pic. for you, although i feel stupid to post it right after Wouters beautiful pic. of the 3. generation ones.

Image

From left: CE Green FRN with black blade
PE Carbonfibre RH
CE Black FRN 3. gen. with boye dent
PE SS Delica or Delica II (Later version, marked C11 instead of C43)
CE Black FRN 3. gen. without boye dent
PE Pink FRN 1. gen.
SE blue FRN 1. gen. (Ats- 55)
SE black FRN 1. Gen.
