It is normal when i use my frn calypso jr.on a wood or polypropylen board,the edge became immediatly dull?(even sharpened at 40°<img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>The same things occurs with my Q!

You might want to check out the Sharpening FAQ, one of the questions I specifically address is what might be happening if you get your knife really sharp, but it dulls quickly.
Anyway, in this case, I think of two things.
First, you could be leaving a wire edge (burr), that turns or falls off when cutting on the cutting board. Since cutting on a board puts more direct pressure on the edge than most cutting jobs, maybe the burr is small and you don't normally notice it except for this use.
The other possibility is that the edge is simply turning because you're pushing so hard. But you definitely shouldn't be seeing this with VG-10, and at 20 degrees it's hard to believe that you're seeing it even with 8A.
I would focus on the tail-end of your sharpening technique, where you finish the burr off completely. What techniques do you use?
