Here are some pics comparing my other knives to the lil temp

The Lil' Temp is one **** of a knife. Im already a Huge fan, I cant say as of yet that it is better than the Para but I havent carried it yet. I can say that I do like the G10 on the Lil' temp alot better than the para and its Amazing stuff. I also really like the clip on the Lil temp and I think im going to try tip up carry.

The Compression lock is my favorite, thogh I find the lock on my para to go over much more than my Lil' Temp, I dont know if this is good or bad, but I am more confident in my para.

Here is a Pic

I also got a Otter Box 3000 today and thats really nice also. I was kinda upset that i got an older Otter Box but this will do.

Vincent, just a warning. The screws for the clip have red loctite on them, so when you go to remove them, make sure you heat them up first so the screws don't strip.

Enjoy that Lil' Temp, it's a beast. I'm curious to see if it'll beat your favored two knives.

Congrats on getting one

tip down with the lil temp doesn't eat pockets as fast... that top point on the blade will do a number on your pocket... fair warning. :p

LIL T = Classic legend

Your heart is in the right place. LIL T is truly a legend in it's time.

Also I have been beating the drum at how superb Spyderco's sharpening tools are but it seems like even very few Spyder-heads pay much attention to them

Nice pick up. Give some feedback after you've used the Lil Temp for a while.

well every para Military has a Compression lock, which is what Mine has. There are alot of different types of compression locks from spyderco, most just with asthetic design.

I think the stone is really great, it to me is better for sharpening than a AO stone. The ceramic spyderco stone is just so smooth it really gets the job done alot better.

The problem with them is that they are more expensive and they are very thin, if the ceramic spyderco stone was the size of a AO Norton stone, It would be Killer. Even thogh this is a packet stone, a Bench stone at this price would be Amazing.

My para has the piece you're talking about. Also, notice how the one in the top of Senate's picture has a rounded tang? Mine has that too.

I wonder which is newer and I wonder what the piece of that liner is doing there?

Here's a pic of mine:
