A titanium handled lockback with 2 3/4th inch flat ground M4 or BG42 (polished) blade. For lower costs use a FRN ( D4) handle but don't compromise on the steel. No cladding, just the steel. BG42 at about 58-59 as SOG had troubles with broken blade tips at 60-62. I'm not sure what is best for the M4.
A similar sized blade in CPM 125V should be made by some intrepid company. Joe L.

I think they are going to make mine: Calypso III with CF scales and a solid ZDP-189 blade. Next to that would be my Tasman Salt with dark copper anodized Ti liners with filework on the top for grip (like the D4) and a matching low rider clip (STR style), deep burgundy/rust colored micarta handles shaped to fit my right hand with light checkering on them for yet more grip. And a choil. Oh, and that puppy I mentioned before.
Ask me where I got my awesome SUPERHAWK!

IF i had the cash and the know where, I'd get a PE Terzuola in ATS-34, just as it was! Titanium, and an integrated comp lock would be cool!

A whole year! PPPfffffttt! and you call yourself a spyderknut? :pMr Blonde wrote:The combination of the Mini Manix' blade with the ti ATR handle and locking system. The handle may be shortened a bit to create a better overall design to support a 3- inch blade. Make it in PE and full SE, and I'd be the happiest spyderknut...for at least a year! :D

Smooth Burgundy Micarta Handle (Like the AG Russell versions)
ZDP-189 Blade Steel with a Flat Grind (again like the AG Russell versions)
or
Jot Singh Khalsa:
Smooth Black Micarta Handle - Slightly Longer.
VG-10 Blade Steel.
Compression Lock

A little something like this...
I'm gonna steal one of STR's photos...
And add a little Paint modified Atlantic Salt of my own.
I'm probably actually gonna do this one, but if I were spec.-ing one from the factory I'd get Blue G-10 (ala Yojimbo or the old BF Native) with a more pronounced finger choil.

A C54 big Calypso in ZDP189 solid, or laminated with 420J2, depending from whats better for performance, PE of course, handle from CF, dual SS liners, pollished handle, black, white or silver CF (or combination of all colors)..
My ultimate spyderco..
Or a variation with dual lined G10 and H1 PE blade, for those wet days... :D

A Nativewith
- G-10 Scales, any color
- Dual liners
- I would take a lock back, but I would rather have the ball lock, or nested compression lock
- S30v steel
- full flat grind, WITHOUT THE SWEDGE! (sorry for being loud :p )
- maybe a little more room in the handle, it feels a little cramped to me, but almost perfect.

i would buy one of these in a second, although i do like the swedge. maybe insted of the swedge a Cally-esque false edge? i think the double edged look adds alot to the "spearpoint" shape of the Native blade i love so much.Axlis wrote:A Nativewith

I would very much like to have a black G10 Rookie/SE with the same blade thickness of the Police in VG10, so I can really USE the knife
Preferably thick linerless G10(like on the Dodo) with a wire clip :)
Now that would be something :D
