Nah, not even going to compete with Ted's pic, my pics turned out too blurry.
The fun thing is that during my visit in Golden the spring seemed really strong. I was worried it would fly out of my hands. One of the refinements I noticed in the A'dam show was how smooth the action was, just right. I do believe the bladelength is around 3,5 inches which should make it legal for us Dutch to play with right?

Yep, its 90mm for us and 85mm for Germany. In Belgium it will be prohibited because of the new and rather messy law on weapons.

I'd like to know how thick it is? The pic makes it look fairly normal, but that is a lot of stuff to cram into a thin package!

that's like a monster calypso or something....
I love the blade shape, but with waves, legal problems, etc... It does not interest me much.

DITTO!
I love the blade shape and handle. I can't carry Autos here, so I won't be buying it. Now what would be AWESOME making a version of the Samaritan with the new BBL indesign, the one with the tabs on the ball. I think that's be too cool to pass up.

When I saw it last November, the handle looked totally different and I remember the blade being pointier. (wish they made that one)

I've been hungering for my first auto, and that just cured me of any interest in a Microtech. :D

Thanks for the pic Ted. I think I'm gonna like this knife. Everything seems right there :)

I'd still love a DAOTF made by Spyderco (can't figure it out how would you actually use the hole in this one, though)

I like the shape of it very much. I would even take it as M/A, but highly appreciate a germany-legal D/A version.

Something makes me think :spyder: will make a manual version too. I love the spine look, looks like the old good Caly :)

I'm an admirer of Spyderco's designs. Using them is like immersing yourself in music or studying a painting in a museum. I buy some "fine" art but my preference is for usable art.

It's a regular liner lock IIRC. The opening is automatic, the lock is a normal liner-lock. (please someone correct me if I'm wrong)
