Well I’m back from Colorado, it was a great trip! My trip to Golden was great also.
Spyderco doesn’t offer tours anymore because of insurance reasons, which I completely understand. But hopefully they will work something out so that we can see where these great knives are made.
I spent two hours at the Spyderco SFO. I was trying to pick out one Spyderco and ended up getting three, Centofante II, full size Calypso, and a Paring knife. I would especially like to thank Ryan for being so patient while I tried out nearly every knife in the store. But everyone there gave great service. Christina, Patti, Christopher, and Ryan, thanks a bunch. Hopefully I’ll see you all again when I come back for MBC training.
P. S. They were giving out samples of this stuff called Flitz. Great stuff. Here is what it can be used for: besides cleaning and protecting a bunch of things like solid gold and painted surfaces. And here are some of the things it will safely remove: Tarnish, Rust, Water Stains, Chalking, Lime Deposits, Heat Discoloration, Lead and Powder Residue, Oxidation, Tar, Oil, Fingerprints, Tree Sap, Bird Droppings, Insects, and Graffiti. Wow, I think I’m gonna have to get a bottle. Yes, I found some rust to remove and it was gone in a couple of wipes. There was also a URL: www.flitz.com
Some laws permit, what honor dose not.
