Is this realy happening.
I'm in for the burgundy vesuvius plain-edge with the bug-inlay.
Is it possible to get the same # as on the military #40 that is.
thanks.
Greetings

Looking forward to this year's Forum knife. I've been looking at the blue inlay Vesuvius, serrated, and love it. Count me in for the burgundy Forum model. Preferrably serrated, of course!

BTW, does anyone know how the numbering works? i.e. how the numbers are distributed?

Lsaulog,
The collectors get their numbers, then after that I don't know. It's probably random after that.

How about the G-10 Cricket. The design is the same as the CF version, and should use the same tooling.

Knife Knut on a shoestring budget.

Oooh, great idea!

A G-10 Cricket with VG-10 steel. NICE! Color? Burgundy or blue maybe? Wait, yep, that's it. a g-10 Cricket in blue with VG-10 blade, serrated, of course!

The design was chosen quite a whil ago as I understand it. It will be a burgundy vesuvius, and i think a ss spydie bug in the handle.

Once it's decided on what the knife is going to be, how is it marketed? Is it just on this forum, word of mouth, Sal picks the winners that get to purchase them, or what. Do you have to purchase them direct through SFO or through a distributor? Anyway it's done, I wanta get one!!!!!

Dan,

If the procedure is the same as the last forum knife (a Military with a pearl Spyderco logo), it will be advertised here and everyone will have a chance to order through SFO. However, there hasn't been any mention of this for some time so I'm not sure if it's going ahead.

How about a calypso jr. with cf scales. Make the blade vg-10 with a flat grind. On the handle put a gold spyder bug.

In the land of knives, Spyderco is king.

Still in the works? Sounds interesting, I would still really like a burgundy Vesuvius with SS bug inlay!! Yes, this is a blatant attempt to bring this thread back to top.

Im with J Smith and Samo on the Endura with camo or green handles and a black blade. I have an Endura with a black blade, I bought it about 8 years ago. It's the only one I have ever seen. Anyone else have and Endura with a black blade?
