The Spyderco forums were established to provide a means for the responsible, professional exchange of information. Spyderco and the moderators of this forum are committed to maintaining the professional character of this medium and will do everything in our power to do so. We will not tolerate obscenity, vulgarity, threatening or racist comments, or any other postings that may be considered offensive or unprofessional.



Recently a forum user with the screen name "Hannibal" violated these guidelines. These postings have been permanently removed from the forum and efforts are being made to prevent any further incidents of this type.



Please consider this public notice to "Hannibal" that your postings are no longer welcome here and will not be tolerated. Any successful postings that you make will be deleted at the earliest possible opportunity.



To the responsible users of this forum, we apologize for any problems that this issue may have caused you. We will continue to police this problem closely and urge you to refrain from responding to or commenting upon any posts made by the forum user "Hannibal."



Spyderco and the moderators of this forum appreciate your responsible, ethical contributions and will continue to do our best to make it the most informative, insightful, and professional forum on the Internet.

As a'Freedom of Speech'person I deplore the banning of Hannibal on principle.However,he begged for it so...."Free speech does not equal filthy speech":good riddance.
