Hmmm.. My cricket has a silver clip. So I guess mine is older than yours? I just got it a couple of weeks ago. I guess that Guy had it for a while...

I often practice ingraveing on my cheaper knives, with our Dremel. I'm not brave enough to do it to a Spyderco yet. Maybe I'll get a stainless Dragonfly, when I know for sure I want muff it! RKBA!

any engraving on non-replacable parts(scales, blade, spine) are given to professionals.

Had I messed up it's only about $8 to get a new clip up here(though Cutting Edge)
