Limited Edition Worker Model?

#1

Post by PSU »

I came across an interesting auction on Ebay: Auction

The knife appears to be one of the early generation Workers but I have never heard of ones with a special "Limited Edition" engraving. I especially like the line..."Since it is a Limited Edition model, the grip is stamped "Limited Edition"."

Does anyone know if this knife is legit with an engraving done by Spyderco? Or is it just an aftermarket engraving to inflate its price? Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Tom

for some reason i want to say that the Worker was re-issued a few years back as a sprint run... not sure if it was engraved or not.

yes they re-released the worker but as far as I've ever seen they were not marked. However if you look where this knife is coming from (Japan) they have knives we don't get and have other "special editions" that we don't see, so I guess it is possible.
