I had been with this girl since last summer, just over a yr. Well, about 5-10 minutes ago, we just decided to go our seperate ways.

I'm a free man again, but at the cost of a yr.

it was a good yr, but a lost yr... only young once, and 1 yr of that is gone...

this is the 2nd one to dump me via the net, but the last one was by email...

We all start with 10 fingers. Those with Spydies have 9 to spare, Still need a thumb. Good thing I still have 8 to spare...

Hey, cheer up! Do you think she is feeling lousy right now? No. Then why should you?
Look on the bright side, at least you still have your Spydies, they'll never leave you. <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Vampyrewolf, just enjoy life while your young, girls will come and go. I didn't get married until I was 33, I've had so many girl friends, that I can't remember half of them. Alot of those girls broke my heart too! I'm also as homely as an Ardvark! RKBA!

Truth be told, VW, I think a lot of older, married guys wish they had a year or two with different girls to look back on and remember fondly.

If you had a good time, and maybe learned something worthwhile about yourself or relationships, or the sort of person you really need to find, it ain't hardly wasted. Try not to let any shoulds or ought-to's enter into your mind, like I should have been married 3 years ago, or whatever.

If you split from someone, and the hole in your life is unacceptable after awhile, then maybe you need to try to go back and get her, otherwise, learn from the ladies you spend your time with, and have a good time!

Hi VampyreWolf. There will be many pages and chapters to the story of your life. Each has its "Yin" and "Yang".

Appreciate each moment of the life time that you get and strive always to think happy thoughts.

broken hearts, bruises and cuts are prices paid for lessons in life.

I think you just went through a rite of passage among men. There are always going to be more opportunities, and I hardly think that you've wasted a year. I think Alan1212 said it best.

Hey guy
If you manage to stay single until you are 26 or so you will probably have many memories of loves won and lost and a better idea of what it is you (and her) really need in a relationship.

Engrave that new SS Dragonfly with her name and the date. Do that with every "significant other" you meet and your collection will be vast and meaningful.

Naawww...... better to use magic marker. LOL

Seriously, don't let your grief extend past this weekend and don't miss the next opportunity. Always a new Spydie coming out and there are new girls in your future.

girls are like condoms, use them and after throw them to the garbage!
Not be mad, I joke. Women are the best thing on this poor world, after knives of course, and I understand that a sentimental deception
make you bad, but life is continuing

V-Wolf...I say laugh! It's a great feeling and it makes more interesting lines on your face over time than frowning does.

You haven't lost a year, you've gained 12 months of experience!
