After 2 years of using the same knife, every day for almost every thing, with no sharpening, a co-worker said she needed a new serrated knife. That knife was dull. It would have taken me four hours to bring an edge back to the last 2 in. on the tip of the blade. I said "I'll find you one." After a day of using her new Spyderco Utility knife, she said "I want another [Spyderco]." She has been bitten... Now she understands why I love Spydercos so much.
Some laws permit, what honor dose not.

Always good to hear about a new recruit, particularly one of the gentler gender. I strongly believe that making them -- the sheeple -- us is what needs to happen in the next few years, if ridiculous, Draconian laws are not going to sprout up more and more frequently. I think that women who like knives as tools carry a lot more credibility than folks like me. Male legislators will, I believe, find it difficult to ban certain knives if women are known to be standing up and stating those knives are useful tools. Who knows about female legislators?
