my apologies to everyone with regards to my spelling of wegner. :o i have been mistakenly spelling it wenger...ooops... :o :o sorry dannyvi! :o
outlaw: i can't seem to access those bladeforum links cause they won't allow my email address for some reason :( , but the box of my wegner says 11/97 too...so they crapped out in 99 eh? interesting, i would have thought they'd be around longer than that. maybe that's why they are so scarce?

Bummer on the links. :(
One states they made 1200 of the #'d knives.(1st. run)
The other states the first delivery of the C48 in 11/97,& the last... a web site confirm that the C49 has been disco'd
