Tis the Season to Give Thanks… Contest

#1

Post by Joyce Laituri »

First off, a large thank you to Ed Schempp who generously provided the prizes.

This time of year is fast paced for some, slow moving for others and without doubt a bit hectic for everyone. Our forum community is so varied with everyone celebrating the season in different ways and with different traditions. The one thing most of us seem to do this time of year is stop and consider what we are thankful for. To enter the contest, post what you’re thankful for this season and we’ll randomly draw names Wednesday January 4th 2006 - 0800MST.

First three names drawn receive a C105MBP Persian 75mm Folder
Next four receive an Official Ed Schempp short sleeve tee shirt (XL)
Next twelve will get an Official Ed Schempp baseball cap

To all of you here, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Season’s Greetings and our best wish for a prosperous, healthy and happy New Year.

~ Kristi, Sal, Joyce, and all the Spyderco Crew

Thanks for the contest :spyder: crew! I am most thankful for my wife and a healthy daughter. I'm also thankful for having the patience and good spirits in being a good Father, something I never had. Thanks for the prizes, Mr. Schempp.

First off thanks to Kristi, Sal, Joyce, and all the Spyderco Crew and Ed Schempp (what a great guy) for this contest.

I am thankful for family and friends, a good job, and these great forums. What an enjoyable place to spend some time at. It is without a doubt the best forum on the web!!
Now the drawing will be on Jan. 4, which just happens to be my birthday  .

I'm thankful for my family and especially my dad for raising me from a lil' kid and getting me started in all the outdoors stuff.
But what I am realy thankful for is that Jesus died on the cross about 2,000 years ago so that I could go to heaven(sorry if that afends you  but I'm just saying what I'm truthfuly thankful for :) ).

I'm thankful for, my wife, the best person I've ever met,
that I have a good job, in an industry I love.
I am thankful for the friends I have, and the friends I met through the job, and this forum.
I am thankful to live where I do, and can be what I am.
And I am thankful to be alive.

Thanks for the contest :spyder: people.
Thanks, Terry

I'm thankful to have all of you guys to share the days with. Life would be pretty empty without this extended global family.

I'm thankful that I wasn't seriously injured in Saturday's crash.

I am extremely thankful for my daughter (Virginia) who was recently born in october. I guess there's something about having a child that put's it all in perspective. I've certainly been thankful everyday that's passed the last couple months. I'm not only grateful for her, but also for the wonderful family and friends we're able to share it all with. Take care and I wish you and your family a safe and happy holiday.
