Or like this.

That's actually a lot surer than rolling it into your fist, and I find it's quite a bit faster.

Sweet.

Been waiting a long time to see this one.

Anyone know blade length?

If the hole is 14mm, the blade must be 3.5" to 3.625" -- thereabouts.

Which is a shame -- over 3" is a felony to carry in my state.

Which means I would have to pass.

Unless a "mini" version was produced!

Here's hoping!

One other thought -- shouldn't a knife like this come with a "low-ride" clip?

The lock reminds me of Gavin Hawk's DOG lock.

I haven't seen this answered yet (if there is an answer) - Is this a regular production knife or a limited run ?
Also, I read somewhere (TPI ?) that it will/may be packaged with a trainer. Great idea, if true (???), at least as an option.
How about this as another option - package with southnarc's Shivworks DVD ?
All 3 (live blade + trainer + dvd) as a "deluxe edition" ???
too much ? ;)

I'll buy the package deal :D

Hi guys,

We pulled the pics and referred them back to Snarc's site. (TPI). Your kind patience and understanding is appreciated.

It was Snarc's request, after discussion with me, that we really dont want the pics all over the place right now. Out of respect for Snarc, Trace & Shannon, you'll have to "go over to Snarc's house" to see the results of their efforts. We'll "splash it" when we can ship.

The "Pickle" will be available through all of our normal distribution channels, or through Shivworks.

The "removable wave rod" will more than likely be an accessory for those interested.

There was some controversy of "to wave or not to wave" so I came up with a compromise. It does perform effectively.

We're planning a trainer.

The lock is a ball bearing lock. The ball is smaller (there wasn't much room for a larger ball in the Shivworks design). The "ball holder" is an extension of the plunger that pushes the ball. It's only function is to unlock the ball bearing lock. You will more than likely see this "style" of ball bearing lock on other models in the future as it takes less space.

The "Pickle" is the first test of the lock.

The liners are skeletonized (Snarc & Trace wanted steel liners, I wanted light weight). Another compromise.

The G-10 handle is thinner to compensate for the liners so the entire package is small, light and fast. The model was quite popular in New York and at the Milipol (Military/Police ) show in Paris.

We're pleased tht Snarc like's it, Haven't heard from Trace or Shannon yet.

Sorry it took so long to develop.

We'll get it into production as quickly as we can, but since the originator (Snarc) and much of the market will be SAS (Save & Serve group), we want to make sure it's reliable.

It's been a fun project so far. Thanx for the support.

Personally, I feel it needs an indexing point, like the Yojimbo or Temperance. Won't be too much trouble to make ...

Wow, nice knife, one more on the "wanted list"
It's better to be judged by 12 than to be carried by 6
