Here is a pic of the Spyderco complex. I have labeled the buildings A,B and C. Does anyone know which knife is made in what building? Any info is of interest.

Wasn't even aware different knives were made in different buildings. Aside from the Spydercrew, Mr. Blonde may be the best source of intel on this as he just visited Golden a month or two back.

I have visited the 'complex' quite extensively a month or two back. I don't think I'd be sharing privileged info when I say that the manufacturing takes place in 'building B', building A houses the offices and the outlet store. Building C kinda looked like an innoquous storage facility, not even sure it is in fact part of the spydercompany. Then again, that may just be the 'Area 51' part of the spyderfactory where all the experimental research takes place, and which Joyce wouldn't want to show me! :D mmmm next time I should order more 'fat tire beers' to get that info out of her! ;)

Shameless plug: pics of the inside of the spydercomplex can be found here.

I got one of those in an email the other day. Here is the 'Rice complex' from space. This technology is quite scary if you ask me. You can even see my Pinzgauer in this picture if you know what to look for. Just no hiding from 'big brother' anymore is there? They probably even know what knife I'm carrying from day to day.

Trust me, it's an even longer trip from my part of the world. I hate airline transfers, but it was worth it for sure.

Look how close these things can get from space. And this is just the 'civilian use stuff'. Scary scary scary stuff. Brings to image laser beams from space kind of missing person stuff.

Mr. Blonde is correct. Although building A & B are actually one and the same, just two sides. The center strip you see with the "black boxes" is our atrium (Mr. Blonde has some great pictures of it from the inside). The "black boxes" are skylights. As for building C, yes it's kind of a storage area and yes it does belong to Spyderco. It is within that building that many prototypes are made.

As for Sal's car, you'll just have to come visit and find out. :)
