Same here Rock!!! Not for fighting off the relatives though, just for stabbing turkey :p Maybe the ZDP Caly for the cranberry sauce, since the color matches so well :)

It has to be a beautiful knife that cuts very well on first strike...

It has to please everyone at the table, from young cousins to old pops...

Big enough to cut, not too big to scare...

And a very comfy handle because you're going to cut a big bird to 10+ people...

Which one is this ???

It's Ed Schempp C-83 PERSIAN :D

Since I'm going to my In-Laws to eat, I should take a scarey knife! Maybe my Chinook I strong side and my Civilian weak side ;)

Will be carrying my Persian. As far as carving goes, depending on what the turkey breast I bought looks like after cooking, might be using anything from my K02 Chef's knife to a Kiwi for that, time will tell.

Most likely it will be a micarta Jester by itself in my right front pocket. Possibly my aluminum salsa. If I decide to carry something clipped it will be my new forum knife as a conversation piece.
