If you get a chance to see the movie "Chill Factor" with Cuba Gooding Jr. and Skeet Ulrich watch for the Bad Guy and his Sypderco Merlin. On another note Dr. Hannibal Lecter likes the Harpy and the Civilian in his recent screen presence.

So many knives...so little time.

I think in the movie Hannibal Anthony Hopkins also uses either a delica or endura possibly a harpy to eviserate the Italian police officer.

Lecter uses a SS Harpy to disembowel the police officer. Also, a sharp eye will reveal that Starling uses a Buck Strider 880 to cut Lecter loose from his bindings at the end.

Keepin' it real...real sharp, that is.

Do a search on movies...

There is a thread called "Spydercos in Movies & TV" from 3/14/2001.

That thread includes a list of all known movies.

We all start with 10 fingers. Those with Spydies have 9 to spare, Still need a thumb. Good thing I still have 8 to spare...

Fellow Spyderco enthusiasts,

I saw the thread from some time ago, and was most interested in the reference to the movie "The client" where "Barry the blade Muldano" uses a stainless Police serrated model. Since reading this, I watched this movie and I believe this knife may actually be a "Blanchard Police" model. It has ornate engraving on one side of the handle and recently I came across a picture on ebay of this knife which makes me think this may what was used in the film. Does anyone know any details about the history of the Blanchard Police model?
