I'm not sure how this is supposed to work..
and I'm not sure how we are supposed to talk of seminars or products that are not directly SFO etc..
so if this is not the proper venue I will accept any wrist slapping not Jeremy..who is only trying to get GUNTING-MBC seminars known..

As you can see Mr Mike..(Janich that is!) is the full time instructor & Head of MBC School @ Spyderco..and they have a full schedule of his classes..
I am on the road most of the time so my seminars are usually AWAY from the School/ Colorado..

And of course I am based in Florida..

Hmm, anyway I'm back from my recent travels & teaching...

gee...I guess I'm on my way to sunny Southern California?
I look forward to it!!!

I'm interested in a class like this, because peasants can carry knives but not pistols in California.

However, I've done a bit of research on these seminars on the web, and what I found is a bit intimidating. It sounds like everyone taking them is a cop, soldier, or martial arts expert. There's also a lot of talk about how painful it is. The seminar reviews all talk about how great it is, but I'm wondering if they benefited because they're big macho tough-guy types.

Now, I'm just a feeble and wimpy civilian. There is no machismo (or masochism, if you prefer) in my personality. Would someone like me still be able to learn from this seminar?

If anyone's wife, daughter, or girlfriend gone through the class, did she think it was worthwhile?

Brams' seminars are the least "intimidating" that I have ever experienced. My girlfriend thought that the class would be far beyond her capabilities, but felt left out after seeing all the fun we had on day one. She played with the rest of us throughout the rest of the weekend.

No prior skill is needed to attend, just a good attitude and a readiness to have fun with some great people.

One of the GREAT programs of instruction out there. I cannot recommend Bram highly enough. I believe that many of the Spyderco staff have trained with him as well.

If you have any other questions, feel free to post here or e-mail me.

Can anyone tell me what the hours each day are? I need to know when to get there... :-)

I tried calling both of the contact numbers, but didn't get a response yet.
