Interesting video. Of course the ease of performing any of those moves still depends on a person's level of manual dexterity. In addition, while some of them are acceptable ways to close a knife like the ParaMilitary, which has a large and well defined choil, they would be impossible, or at least extremely dangerous, for a left handed user if attempted with a Vesuvius, Lil Temp or ATR where there is little or no unsharpened tang.

Thanks for posting HoB :)
I made that video because I know a lot of people don't get to handle knives before they order them online.
You're right about the choil, it only works for knives like the native, manix, paramilitary etc. but I rarely use the choil to close, I just included it because it's another option.

Like with any new lock, it does take some practice but I like the compression lock because of the many different ways it can be used :)The Deacon wrote:Interesting video. I think it's a 2nd generation]What kind of bandaids do you use? I can hardly see them.[/QUOTE]Senate wrote:Manifest, you have talent my freind! I love this video :)
is it a 1st or 2nd generation Para?
did you smoothen the detent of the opening? it looks very easy to open....
I don't cut myself often and I've never cut myself with the para. However, if I did cut myself, I would stop the bleeding with a normal bandaid (e.g. the ones you get from New Graham) then switch to liquid bandaid. :D
