"Also working on a bigger one" [Leaf Jumper]

Sal in the "Leaf Jumper" thread viewtopic.php?f=2&t=88699&sid=a874a9cfc ... e#p1488773 - So we´ll probably see a Leaf Jumper XL, and by that perhaps kind of a backlock Caribbean! :)
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Looks like we'll be seeing a Lil' Kapara in the future.

Hi Wrdwrght,

It started ut as a slippie for BBQ. I asked Alisatair to make one a bit larger with a Compression lock. Which he did and that is the Kapara. Then I asked him to make a sample of his slippie UK legal, which he did. Then Eric decided that a locking smaller Kapara should come before the UK legal slippie, which is in-the-works. I guess the UK legal slippie will follow the smaller locker.

Locking Lil' Kapara ! This is an atomic bomb not a bombshell

P.S I hope and pray for a liner lock instead of a comp lock

Hi Warstein,

Ali didn't choose the Compression Lock, I did. I believe Eric'a plan is to keep the Compression Lock on the smaller Kapara. The model has been very successful as it is. I believe there are even Exclusive pieces coming out. Sorry, but I don't think it would be a wise move to change the lock at this time.

Hi Julia,

I will forward your request for more space.

Kapara exclusives?! Sounds exciting!

Just found out the maker for the Perrin's models will work with K390. I should receive Stuarts proto sent to me this week. And I've got a maker with skill that has some space.

Hey Vivi,

FYI, There is a XL version called the "Cliff Jumper" (Warnie), (recommended by a member) and the "Sequoia", (leaf) both 4.0" blades, just for you and me.

We're working on a few Urbans, beefing up the pivots on the FRN versions. A Damasteel version, prompted by some "fool" in the UK. A UKPK was preferred but Golden is pretty busy right now. Some Urban Exclusives are also in-the-works.

I'd like to see some UKPK's with the same construction as the HH exclusive, with formed scales. We're pedaling as faast as we can. Eric is planning another addition to help production. Still a ways off though.

From the new stainless steel thread about Larrin’s new steel that the name has yet to be released...
Fingers crossed for the name to be Larrinium

Hi Larrin,

Conrats on the new blend. You know us, we've already ordered a batch for a Mule Team. Great time for Steel Junky's.

Hi Dazen,

No plans for more kitchen knives at this time. We're still bringing the Murray Carter's in and I'm working on a basic serrated Utility (Hanalei) in a corrosion resistant steel.

Slow down. You are up the street and down the block. This model is not being considered for production. I needed a platform to use the steel with and this was the easiest.

Hi UKPeaKay,

Welcome to our forum.

As I remember, they are in process. I think that HH waited too long to re-order. They weren't aware of our backlog. I would encourage them to re-order before they run out to keep the flow going. It's a beautiful piece and we're glad to have them doing it. You didn't hear t from me  bit I think they have other projects of which they are thinking.

From the Mule Team subforum, in regards to the SPY27 mule, and possible FRN scales
sal wrote:

We are planning to make a steady run of Mule Team 2 pieces of SPY27 as a standard to be available regularly. It has a slightly different shape to distinguish it from regular Mule Teams. If the demand is there, we will more than likely make an FRN mold with our bi-directional texture so parts can be available. Maybe even with colors?

Just found this from Apr 5, 2021, on BladeForums:

“Our hi-performance Delica is just beginning to go forward. High hollow grind, thin edge, I'd like K390. Should be fun and eye opening.”
I don't get people who only carry one knife :thinking ;)
