The smaller one makes a great EDC, and the big brother is one of my favorites for any sort of outdoor activity.

Might not be full fledged Spydies, but Sal is working on 3 Byrd Wharncliffes. Hope they come with teeth, too.

Hi Skeeg,

The "3" is now "4".

Robin, Meadowlark, Harrier 2 and Cara Cara. All will include teeth.

I think the Kris was an exceptional design. The original maker can no longer make it so Eric is working with another maker to see if we can sprint it.

On the Rock, I have and use the original custom piece. Exceptional design!

sal
This is most excellent news! I hope some maker can match Moki of yore's build quality. I certainly hope the design is true to the original including pinned and bolstered construction.

I hope VashHash sees this. :spyder:

I'm happy sprints of older models like the Kris and Ayoob are possibly coming. Not to take anything away from Spydercos amazing 2020 selection.

There's a lot of really unique knives they've produced over the years that are difficult to find these days.

On the subject of the Rock Salt, if they were to do a FFG LC200N sprint it would certainly catch my attention.

I was just looking for a Rock Salt the other day. An FFG LC200N sprint sounds great.

Michael, there were two additional comments about the bombshell(which was two models).

Chill out.

Yeah I've been a long term believer in the Kris. I really hope they can recreate the design.

Winter carry is going to be a tough decision between an M4 Manix, SE K390 Police, and PE K390 Police. That's when I get to enjoy the tool steels.
