I’m not sure what you mean, but I like the idea of 52100!!

Edited: I thought “ball bearing” steel, aka 52100. I realize now you must have meant the pivot? I really hope not.

They read it on Bladeforums. It has been designed and prototyped, but the pandemic has production schedules tied in knots.

(Not news for all, but still for some I guess):

"There are advantages to the Military as designed. We might CQI the model, but it will remain in the line with the current Linerlock even if there is a Military 2 with a Compression Lock."

THAT is going to be nice if they get the QC issues sorted out, and if so, I will be first in line to get one.

There was a request for a Damasteel UK, and the queue is too full right now to do it. I'm going to try to get a Damasteel Urban for now.

This is great news, I might be one of the few that likes the Urban more than the UKPK!

Hi Chris,

I use a GoldenStone. We also have a 30 degree stand for it in-the-works that I expect to approve of shortly.

My assumption is that it will be in the same configuration as was voted on with input from this and another forum? I believe it was Bjorkmans Twist damasteel and white g10 handle to keep it classy but low cost.

Then again, maybe not!

Hi FRNFanboy,

There is a Caly 3.5 LT WT in-the-works. We're modifying to accept screw construction.

I'm currently playing with a Sage 5 LT WT REX-121 proto.

I'd love to see the Caly 3, 3.5 and Calypso all brought back as screw construction lightweights.

Taiwan

Whoops, see Sal's post below. This thread certainly gives the impression that it would/could be coming from Taiwan, but it was never confirmed. Sorry about that.
