Good point and very true! Still...be nice to have decent scales on it already. Especially on a small fb that is probably meant more for EDC type use rather than "camp" type use.jabba359 wrote:If they're screw construction, then "Presto! Hello Sal,
just wanted to say how great work you guys are doing. Have one little question - did you recieve some opinions on factory quality rundown on seki spyderco models? Today my new ffg grey delica came and it has burr and first centimeter of edge at ricasso is very very dull - you can push with your finger on edge and still feel very comfortable with that :-D no blood, no bruise really dull edge. I had 2nd a 3rd generation delicas and enduras, ladybug, jester and some more knives and never saw something like that - even edge of my tenacious was in better shape out of the box.
Just thinking about whats wrong - I even saw few other knives like endura and michael walker with some problems. I´ll enjoy my new knife, will use it as much as it deserves just don´t think this is or was normal at spd family - always top notch quality (same as on old al-mar knives that I simply love).
Hope you will think about it and take it seriously and take it as friendly note from loyal spyderco addict.
Thank you for your time :-)
Have a nice day and take care.

The only newish thing I heard was regarding the Forum Knife and how they had just discussed trying something new.

Welcome to the Spyderco forum.
We've been discussing a Kopa sprint. The maker that made the Kopa's doesn't have the confidece to work with all of the exotic materials so we're trying to find something nice that they can work with.
I believe the Lava sprint is in-the-works.
