This is awesome news!

Winter carry is going to be a tough decision between an M4 Manix, SE K390 Police, and PE K390 Police. That's when I get to enjoy the tool steels.

I assume he meant P4 LWs? If so, sign me up! I was about to buy the base P4 LW. I still probably will because I assume these are many month out before we see them.

Fun stuff. I have been putting off the P4 waiting on the K390 and now this. Sal is torturing me. 😄

Yes, P4 LW and Sal just announce a serrated edge K390.

FINALLY!!!

I've wanted one for a while, it just wasn't thin Enuff...

LC200N is a no brainer! But, I guess I could settle for VG-10. :D

More Cru-wear and Z-Wear is coming.

Some interesting history to share;

Many decades ago, being a knife Junky with fewer choices than we have today, I purchased a Gerber folding hunter with a steel called "Vascowear". I really liked the steel, probably still have the knife around somewhere. I contacted Crucible and asked about it. They said they had the chemistry and had made the earlier steel. They said they could make it for me. They called it Cruwear.

I ordered enough to make a "Mule Team" run. When the steel came in, they informed me that they had powdered it for me. I was surprised and pleased to have CPM Cruwear. (I like powdered steels). The Mule Team was very popular so we began using it on production knives. The knife afi's like it so we're planning more in the future.

More recently, another foundry began making it and calling it Z-Wear. We'll be using it as well.

From the s35vn on the Tenacious thread:

"Same maker, If the Tenacious is well received, we can try an Astute.

I'm super excited for this possibility!

That's gonna be a great alternative to the Endura or Police. Call it the Extension or something.

I'll be following this project closely. I love the ergonomics of the Stretch series but prefer a bit more blade.

Guys, once again, let's keep this thread reserved for actual Bombshell posts by Sal. Comment on everything else in individual threads.
Could we please start posting this along with each additional bombshell post. This has completely gotten out of control.

Not sure how this slipped through.
From the thread Salt Dyad interest
https://forum.spyderco.com/viewtopic.ph ... n#p1452551

"Today I carried a Dyad with dual compression locks. Delica size. It has two humped blades with 12mm opening holes. If we make a knife humpless, then the handle has to be wider and sometimes the opening becomes more difficult. If we make the blades humpless with smaller holes, the same issue exists. The major problem with two bladed knives is the higher cost or processing two blades.
