When did the CC#'s go from 100#'s to 200#'s?

Does anybody know what year the collector's club went from 1-100#'s to 1-200#'s. And also at knife did this first happened at.

Also, does anybody know what year the collector's club started?

From what I understand, from the very beginning of the collectors club, "membership" was to be limited to a maximum of 201, including the #000 held by Mrs. Glesser. Do not think it ever reached full subscription, but could be wrong on that. Could be wrong on both counts for that matter. Not sure when it started, imagine one of the Spydercrew would be best able to answer that one.

Paul, this time I not sure about that. I have some early CC# boxes that say 1 of 100. And I was the told the second 100 #'s were added in around 1998...or so. And I have never seen an early CC#'d variation with a number above 100...

Anybody else have any comments... :confused:

Great questions! The Collector's Club started in 1988 with the Pre-Diver and the Probe. The numbers went from 1-100 to 1-200 in late 1997/early 1998. It was a rolling change, so I can't tell you for certain which model it started with.

All I can add, is that I have G-10 Police. Box is dated, 8/97. CC# 107V. Maybe this is an indication.
