Forum model poll

Ok so I guess I will start it.
Please vote for the model you would most like to see as the forum model.
I will list 5 of the most popular models.
The Kopa may not be one of the most popular but I put it in because of the scale options.
I vote for the Military because I would like to see one done in Lil Temp green G10 with maybe a silver Spydie bug inlay,PE and DLC blade clip and hardware.
I would rather have a satin blade if the hardware and clip can not be done in DLC but I would get it either way.
No one said anything about how long these should run so how about until Friday 26 Aug.I think this will give most all the members here and over a BF the chance to see it.

I voted for the Endura, but I would be equally happy with a Delica or Native. Or anything. You can put me in the "will get whatever it turns out to be" camp.

Actually...

Just curious, but why isn't the Caly Jr on here? Wouldn't it be nifty to get the new ZDP Caly Jr. in G-10? People seem to be pretty excited about it already. Maybe with a tip-up wire clip, a-la the Dodo.... Mmmm, yummy.... Now I'm getting carried away. But it kind of makes sense to have the 2005 Forum knife be a 2005 model, no?

I think a thread saying what variation of the para do you guys want is better, because every poll so far,

all 9 or 10 of them have all pointed to the Para-Military.

You're getting a little crazy here today. Lets take a deep breath.

There are a lot of knives with 3" blades, and Sal already said that it was possible to put a G10 handle on another production knife (he mentioned the Delica and Native).

Not that it's decided by a long shot, but at THIS point, it looks like the smaller folders are favored. It is incorrect to say with certainty that "it will be a para-military." We know that you want a green/black military or a paramilitary. Let's let the forum discuss it.

I clicked on Military, but would like to go on record as wanting the Para-Military.

If there is no chance that the Para would be considered, I would get the Military.

I guess I pick the Delica just because the Native and Military have already been forum models. I'm surprised the Paramillie and Manix/Mini Manix are not up there. . . .


In the past the forum model has sometimes been used to introduce a new model, I think it would be cool to introduce the Mini Manix as a forum knife with a different color handle from the normal production run.

How can 70% vote for G-10 but the majority votes for an FRn model.

just i dont think their is a great chnace to turn a FRN model into a G-10 model.

I don't think it would be that hard. They already have all of the things necessary to make it since they had the Blade Forums knife.

I guess my suggestion of starting with broad categories and eventually narrowing down to model, colors and handle material has been ignored.

If the above were my only choices, I'd choose the Delica. They are not and should not be the only choices. The next FRN Delica will be a better knife and will be out probably within the next year. I think a forum Delica then would be a great way to celebrate the redesign of this perennial best seller.

I think the Dialex knife HAS to be a forum knife when it comes out. It is the first ever Spyderco-produced knife designed by a fellow, active forumite.

I'd like to see forum knives of the mini-manix, C100 and UK penknife.

I had to choose none of the above.
