The first 200 knives are numbered for the collectors club, any out of the first 200 that are left over (not bought by members of the collectors club are sold to dealers.)Also at one time the first 1000 knives of any colab run were numbered. Some runs were all numbered like the 1200 ps run of the Alum Worker

2:What is a palladium bug made of? and how do ppl get them?
Not sure what it is made of but it is fairly soft,I got a few from Spyderco at Blade last year.

3:What is the rarest of the rare sydercos? (available to the public)
HHUUUMMM! Good question, there are a few and they can be argued about.
PIG Police
Dino bone executive
Anniversery Delica
PE Harpy
LH PE Harpy
Bone Jess Horn

4: How are forum knives bought?
They were bought through SFO (this site)they did not sell well and it is doughtfull there will be any more made.

Hope all this helps.

Palladium is a white, precious metal, in the same family as platinum. Not sure if any of the bugs are really made of that. Possibly some may have been plated with it. I believe most, if not all, the bugs are made from what is know as "nickel silver", an alloy of nickel, zinc and some other metals that is used for costume jewelry because it resembles the look of silver.

Far as rare pieces go, in addition to the ones Jeff mentioned...
  • A number of versions of the "Q"
  • The C67 "R"
  • Black Ti Military
  • The Paramedic, a variant of the Mariner
  • Plain Edge Mariner
  • Ramco Laguiole
  • Carbon Fiber Delica, Police, and Civilian - especially the LH versions.
  • C22 "Klotzli" Walker
  • CX06 "Experimental" version of the almite Walker
  • Titanium handled Police
  • "Japan Market" Titanium handled Delica
  • Everest Worker (Worker with Kraton insert "ProGrip" style handle
  • "2 screw" Worker - earliest version of the Worker, with 2 screw clip
  • Blue almite handled version of the Lum Chinese folder
  • Blanchard engraved pieces, especially the Police
  • Early Santa Fe Stone and Yellowhorse embellished pieces that were marketed by Spyderco
  • all 5 AG Russell Special variants on the C34 Jess Horn II
  • any of the Forum Models, with the blue FRN Native III probably the least common of the lot
There are probably others as well, and, as Jeff said, some would argue whether one or more of these should be included. As I said yesterday in another thread, the word "rare" has been abused so much by collectors that, IMHO, it is all but meaningless, but it's safe to say none of the ones mentioned by either Jeff or myself are commonplace. Between my website and those of Boxer93 and Spyderwa there are pictures of many of the ones lists. If you search through old posts by Rycen and Recoil, you'll find photos of several more of them.

The inlay on the Centofante III is Palladium Silver.
